United Hospital Center and United Health Foundation’s 2nd annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament raised $152,176 for a new state-of-the-art Women’s Health Center. The sold-out tournament drew 96 amateur golfers and 24 pro golfers from throughout the region. WV News won the scramble, and Matt Tashenberg from Pikewood National Golf Club in Morgantown, West Virginia, took home $4,000 and the trophy for the Pros. This new center will provide an exceptional, calming environment for the women of our community to gather, receive first-class healthcare, and experience pivotal moments all under one roof. A place where women can receive the care they deserve for themselves and where physicians and healthcare providers can collaborate, communicate, and build a community around the needs of the extraordinary women in our lives.
